- Southern Steel Sheet Co., Ltd. (SSSC) is a joint venture among Vietnam Steel Corporation (Vietnam), Sumitomo Corporation (Japan), Sumitomo Corporation Global Metals Co., Ltd. (Japan), Yew Lian Property and Investments Pte Ltd (Singapore), LCG Holdings Pte. Ltd (Singapore), and Sumitomo Corporation Vietnam LLC (Vietnam).
- SSSC was established in June 1995 under Investment Certificate No. 1264/GP issued by the State Committee for Cooperation and Investment (now the Ministry of Planning and Investment) on June 9, 1995; Enterprise Registration Certificate – No. 3600236891, first registered on May 9, 1995; the 8th registration, dated September 30, 2025.
SSSC is one of the leading manufacturers of galvanized steel sheet in coil and prepainted color steel sheet in coil in Vietnam.
Machinery and Equipment Lines:
Office and factory at Road No. 3, Nhon Trach II – Nhon Phu Industrial Zone, Nhon Trach District, Dong Nai Province, Vietnam
- Galvanizing and Al-Zn Alloy Coating Line (CGL2) – Capacity: 150,000 tons/year
- Color Coating Line (CCL2) – Capacity: 100,000 tons/year
- Galvanizing Line No. 3 (CGL3) – Capacity: 150,000 tons/year
They are the most modern and advanced production lines of galvanized steel sheet in coil, aluminium-zinc coated steel sheet in coil and prepainted color steel sheet in coil in the world supplied by Tenova S.p.A (Italia).

For many of consecutive years, SSSC has been ranked Top500 biggest enterprises in Vietnam and the SSSC’s products like GI in coil and PPGI in coil have been voted as the High Quality Vietnamese products by the consumers and won the Vietbuild Gold Cup on the product quality of the construction materials - interior decoration and the consumer products.
